Platform · Findings & corrective actions

Every issue gets an owner, a deadline and a checked fix

A failed check doesn’t sit in a report. It becomes someone’s job. Assign it to your team or an outside contractor, let reminders go out automatically, and close it only after review.

The loop

From found to fixed

Raise it, assign it, fix it, check it, without group chats and spreadsheets.

1

Surface

A failed check raises the finding and notifies the people who need to know. Nothing waits for the report.

2

Own

It lands on one accountable person with a due date, a team member, or an external contractor in their portal.

3

Resolve

The owner does the work and marks it resolved with a note and photo evidence, from wherever they are.

4

Review & close

Your reviewer verifies the fix. Close it, or reopen with a reason the owner sees. Closed means checked.

Instant awareness

The right people are notified right away

  • Findings open automatically

Out-of-limit readings, failed checks and K.O. answers open findings automatically, with the severity your template logic defined.

  • Notified when it happens

Owner, site manager and reviewer hear about a critical finding when it’s raised, not when the report lands a week later.

  • Evidence attached from the start

The photo, reading and location that triggered the finding travel with it. The owner sees exactly what needs attention.

Real ownership

One owner and one due date, inside or outside your team

  • One accountable owner

Every finding has exactly one accountable owner with a due date and priority. Your staff, the client’s team, or the subcontractor who owns the fix.

  • External owners get a portal, free

Contractors resolve and close their items in a guest portal we provide. Their items only, resolve with note + photo, no license, nothing else exposed.

  • Reminders and escalation are automatic

Reminders and escalations fire automatically as the due date nears and passes, accountability doesn’t depend on someone remembering to nag.

Verified closure

Fixes are reviewed before they close

  • Owners resolve with proof

“Done” takes a note and photo evidence. What was fixed, and how. A claim without proof doesn’t move the status.

  • Your reviewer signs off

Resolved items route back for verification. Approve to close, or reopen with a reason the owner sees. The loop only ends when the fix is confirmed.

  • Complete audit trail

Who raised, owned, resolved, reopened, verified, and when. Every attempt on record, ready for auditors, insurers and disputes.

FAQ

Findings questions, answered

Do subcontractors or clients need paid seats to close actions?

No. Assignees get a free guest portal scoped to their items only. They sign in with an emailed code, resolve with notes and photos, and never see the rest of the inspection.

Can findings be raised manually too?

Yes. Inspectors can raise ad-hoc findings mid-inspection or from the observations feed, with the same lifecycle.

Can we require verification before closure?

Per workspace or per template. Orgs that self-close skip the verification step; everyone else routes through a reviewer.

What reaches Monday.com?

Findings and corrective actions with status, owner and due date, synced both ways, so closing on either side closes both.
